Hand Sewing for Girls: 6th-12th Grade

Students will learn hand-sewing basics and will make projects, some of which would be suitable to give as gifts at baby and wedding showers.  Some examples include cupcake and mouse pin cushions, a kitchen apron, potholders, and baby bath towel.  Often students will finish up some hand-sewing on their project at home between classes, 30 minutes to 1 hour’s worth.  We will have hot tea and a snack while we sew.
